With all that goes in to estate planning, it may be easy to forget about the furry friends who bring joy to each day of our lives. After all, you're thinking about your spouse, children, parents, brothers, sisters, friends, etc. It may that one of those people will take care of your pets if something should happen to you.
Still, providing for your pet(s) in a will or a trust can be done and will bring you peace of mind. You don't need to provide them with a life of luxury after you're gone (although somepeople have), just enough to provide for their comfort. Your pets will be glad you thought of them!
